PROGRAM: • Wetland wonders: students will learn about the different types of wetlands, their differences, and the animal and insects that dwell in them. Participate in an activity to simulate a healthy wetland ecosystem. • Insect observers: students will get hands on experience identifying insects that live in coastal rainforests of BC, and learn the important roles they play in forest systems. • Habitat trackers: track down 50 different mammals that live in the forest. Students will learn interesting facts about these animals as they play interesting games and simulate population sizes within an ecosystem. •Cost: $15.92 per student •For grades 1-7; with older and younger siblings allowed •Minimum 25 students; maximum 45 students •Depending on how many sign up, we may split into an…
