About the event
Destination Imagination (DI) is a year-long, project-based-learning opportunity for school-age kids to collaborate together. We'll be doing a tiny sliver of it: Instant Challenges. In an instant challenge, a group is asked to make something specific and given items to use, within a certain time limit. OR the challenge could be improv and dramatically telling a story using their creative ideas!
Although this might be really new for some, I guarantee it will be interesting, creative, and often humorous time together. It might seem intimidating, but there will be at least 1 kid in each group who has done DI and/or Instant Challenges, and we'll explain and try to do an example before we get started.
