About the event

PLEASE READ IN FULL

For this month's tween/teen event, we're hosting Kyla from EcoPlay at Surrey's Regional Park, Tynehead at the Raven's Nest campsite.

Please meet at the "Raven's Nest" area a bit before 1PM. She'll introduce knots and ropework for bear hangs with the group (and then trying to get the food!), shelter building, and possibly time with compasses + maps.

Parents who would like to volunteer to help lead a station are encouraged but not required. LHEA is subsidizing this event but please bring $10/family to help cover costs. If your family needs assistance covering, please don't hesitate to email lheagroup@gmail.com.

Although this is not a drop-off event, carpooling is encouraged. If you'd like to carpool with another family but need help coordinating, we can help with that too.

Please have your kids dress for the weather. This will be an all outdoor, all-weather event.
