When: Wednesday, January 22nd from 10-11:30am. Please arrive at 9:45 so we can divide into groups and start the program at 10am.
Where: Museum of Surrey - 17710 56a Ave, Surrey
Who: This field trip will be geared towards Gr 4-6 students, but other ages are welcome to attend.
Cost: $3/student for LHEA members or $4/student for non-members. Parents are free. E-transfer your payment to joimoo@gmail.com to reserve your spot.
What: Get hands-on exploring six simple machines: pulley, lever, wheel-and-axle, inclined plane, screw and wedge. Students handle artifacts, build models, work through a scavenger hunt in the Surrey Stories gallery, and create a catapult to take home.
