You're invited to LHEA's first Heritage/History Fair!
Depending on the interest, we may have everyone over at our home to present their projects. If there is lots of interest, I will look at a space to rent. After the fair, each participant will get a certificate, and we will have a potluck snacks time.
In case youve never been a part of a history fair, basically, your child will learn about a topic of interest and prepare a project board to present to the group. Weve done a mix of "ask 3 questions about" or have the kids share as much as the want about their projects. Some of the topics I saw last year was titanic, frank slide, ww2, anne of green gables, wayne gretzky, heritage sports, iroquois, inuit, Anne Frank, Joan of Arc, gold rush.... list goes on.
