About the event

As teachers, we are asked by the government to incorporate First Nations perspectives into our lessons. What if we ourselves weren't taught about First Nations? Where do we begin learning how to teach our children valuable lessons from our local indigenous people? Come and hear our guest speaker, Dr Matthew Etherington from Trinity Western University, share his views on WHY it is valuable to incorporate indigenous education and HOW we can bring it into our homeschools.

Masks are not required, but are welcome according to each person's comfort level. Sanitizer and bottled water will be available. Please do not come if you have any covid symptoms.

Capacity for this meeting is 25 people. A waitlist will start once event is full.

Everyone is welcome to all of our meetings, whether or not you are a LHEA member.  Feel free to pass this email along to any of your local homeschooling…
