A Rocha Biomes Field Trip (Fri, April 26)
Learn from the excellent instructors at A Rocha environmental center in South Surrey. This field trip will focus on learning about Biomes - temperate rainforest, aquatic and soil. The material is directed at a grade 4 intermediate level but is flexible with ages, most grades will enjoy, learn and have fun.
Students will begin with a tour of the property and then split into 3 groups for learning activities. Parents and younger siblings are welcome to stay around the property, or follow along, but young children must be supervised. There is a play area and nice walks to explore free of charge.
